Wang was born on November 28, 1993 in Huainan, a city located in the Anhui province.[1] His parents divorced when he was very young. He was raised by his grandmother.[2]

In 2016, Wang participated in a documentary series, Grade One Graduation.[2] His acting debut was in 2017's Campus Beauty 2.[3] The same year, he appeared in Criminal Psychology Group X (犯罪心理小组X).[4] Wang had a supporting role in remake of Meteor Garden in 2018.[5]
