Variations Collection Hana Yori Dango (変奏曲集 花より男子), also titled Variations "Hana-Dan", is the first soundtrack released for the Boys Over Flowers anime. It consists primarily of the score composed by Michiru Oshima. The soundtrack was released on December 16, 1996 by Bandai Music Entertainment.
Background[]
The soundtrack was composed by Michiru Oshima.[3] It contains various character themes, including Rui Hanazawa's.[4] The anime's opening and ending theme songs are altered and stripped of vocals. Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 5 is also included on the soundtrack.
A second soundtrack, titled Encore Piece from Tsukushi, was released on March 21, 1997.[5]
