Vachirawit Chivaaree (Thai: วชิรวิชญ์ ชีวอารี, born December 27, 1997 in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand), also known as Bright (Thai: ไบร์ท), is a Thai actor, model, and musician. He belonged to GMMTV until becoming an independent artist in 2023. Chivaaree is best known for his lead role in 2gether: The Series with Metawin Opas-iamkajorn and for portraying Thyme in the 2021 series, F4 Thailand.


Early life[]

Chivaaree was born on December 27, 1997 as Kunlatorn Chivaaree. His name was changed Vachirawit when he was in primary school. Chivaaree's mother is half-Chinese and his father half-American.[1] He was born in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District and spent part of his childhood, before moving to Bangkok for school.[2] Chivaaree graduated from Suankularb Wittayalai School and Triam Udom Suksa School. He originally pursued a degree in engineering from Thammasat University.[3] He later changed his major to marketing and has since graduated from Bangkok University.[4]


Chivaaree joined the entertainment industry at the age of fifteen as one of the hosts of the variety show, Strawberry Krubcake.[5][6] He made his debut as an actor in the 2016 film, Love Say Hey. In 2018, he starred in I Sea U with Pattie Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha.[7] Chivaaree was later selected for "GMM25 New Face 2018," earning a role in the anthology Love Songs Love Series.[8] The following year, he attracted attention for playing the younger version of Sunny Suwanmethanont's character in My Ambulance.[9] Chivaaree starred as Sarawat in 2gether: The Series with Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn in early 2020. The popular series brought both leads international fame.[10] They reprised their roles in the event series Still 2gether (2020)[11] and the film 2gether: The Movie (2021).[12]

In September 2020, Chivaaree's casting in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers was announced.[13] Premiering in December 2021, he starred as Thyme alongside Tu Tontawan Tantivejakul, Opas-iamkajorn, Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak, and Nani Hirunkit Changkham.[14] In 2022, Chivaaree starred in Astrophile with Mai Davika Hoorne[15] and the ensemble drama, Good Old Days.[16] Chivaaree had guest roles in Midnight Museum[17] and Enigma in 2023.[18] In August 2023, he opted not to renew his contract with GMMTV and became an independent artist.[19][20] The following month, he established his own artist management agency, Cloud 9 Entertainment.[21] His film, Congrats My Ex! with Bella Ranee Campen, was released in November of that year.[22]

Chivaaree's final project while still under GMMTV was the film, Love You to Debt, with Yaya Urassaya Sperbund. It was released in April 2024.[23]

Personal life[]

On April 22, 2024, Chivaaree confirmed that he was in a relationship with actress Nene Pornnappan Pornpenpipat.[24]

  • Chivaaree has stated that being given the lead role in F4 Thailand is his most memorable moment as an actor and also called it his "dream role."[25]
  • In March 2021, Chivaaree starred in a Dutch Mill commercial with his F4 costars along with Pansa Vosbein and Nattawat Jirochtikul.[26]
  • Chivaaree owns a clothing brand named Astro Stuffs. Tontawan Tantivejakul modelled for the brand in September 2020[27] and in February 2021 for the "V-Day" collection.[28]
  • His song, "Unmovable," was released in June 2021 as a part of GMMTV's "Boys Don't Cry" project. Neen Suwanamas appeared in the music video as his love interest.[29]
  • The song "Shooting Star" for F4 Thailand was released on Chivaaree's twenty-fourth birthday.

  • At the age of ten, Chivaaree started learning how to play musical instruments such as the guitar and drums.[30]

  • Chivaree, Chanagun Arpornsutinan, and Kanaphan Puitrakul serve as hosts on the variety show, Toe Laew.
