Domyoji (
Biography[]
Before the birth of his son, Domyoji found a woman, Tama, wandering around. He brought her to work at his home. Tama credited him with saving her life. His son later married Kaede, whom gave birth to two children Tsubaki and Tsukasa. Domyoji's final words were for his family to "take care of [Tama]" until her death.[1]
Etymology[]
Domyoji (道明寺; どうみょうじ) is made up of three kanji. The first kanji means "street," "journey," "course," and "teachings."[2] The second means "bright" and "light"[3] and the third means "temple".[4]

- Domyoji is first mentioned in chapter one hundred and thirty-four of Boys Over Flowers.
- In Boys Over Flowers (2009), he is mentioned in the first episode as being the former head of Shinhwa Group and founder of Shinhwa School. He reportedly turned down a Medal of Honor from the President and asked for the school to be built instead.
