Tomohiko Kikuta (菊田 知彦 (きくた ともひこ) Kikuta Tomohiko, born in Fuchu, Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese musician who debuted in the early 1990s. He performed "Ordinary Sunday" and "Kenka no Atode," the opening and ending themes of the Boys Over Flowers anime.

Kikuta was born in Fuchu, Tokyo.[1]

Career[]

In the early 1990s, Kikuta beat Ken Hirai in an audition and was signed to the now defunct Taurus Records.[2] He released his first single, "Kimi o Aisuru Koto wa Darenimo" (きみを愛することは誰にも () ) in 1993.[3] Kikuta's next single, "Ordinary Sunday," contained both the opening and ending theme of Boys Over Flowers (1996).[4] His final single, "Beat On Dream On," was released in 1999. It served as the second ending theme of Ultraman Gaia.[5] After being inactive for several years, Kikuta made his comeback at an event, titled Okutamajin (奥魂音人 () ), in 2017. Currently, he continues holding his company job while occasionally playing small live shows.[2]
