Song Woo-bin (Hangul: 송우빈) was a member of the F4. He was a student at Shinhwa School, which he attended with his best friends Gu Jun-pyo, Yoon Ji-hoo, and So Yi-jung.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Woo-bin's family founded Il-Sim Construction, considered the "blue chip" of the construction industry, and were wealthy real estate tycoons. His family was also rumored to have connections to the mob.[2] Woo-bin became friends with So Yi-jung, Gu Jun-pyo, and Yoon Ji-hoo in kindergarten. They befriended Min Seo-hyun around the same time.[3]
High school[]
By high school, Woo-bin and the others were known as the F4 which stands for "Flower 4." Using their families' influence, the guys were essentially allowed to do whatever they wished. One example being that they wore regular clothes instead of the school's uniform. Anyone who opposed the F4 was given a red card, causing the student to be bullied by their classmates and resulted in them dropping out.[2]
