It was held on July 23, 2022 at Union Mall in Bangkok, Thailand. The concert was followed by a tour of nine Asian cities.
Background[]
The concert was first announced by GMMTV on June 4, 2022.[2] Tu Tontawan Tantivejakul, Prim Chanikarn Tangkabodee, Fah Yongwaree Anilbol, and Fluke Gawin Caskey were announced as special guests on June 6.[3] Ployshompoo Supasap was an unannounced guest.[4] Tickets for Shooting Star Concert went on sale on June 11[5] and sold out within the day.[6] Patrons were also able to purchase streaming tickets through TTM Live.[7] From August 5 to 19, the concert was available to watch on demand through TTM Live.[8] Patrons who had bought a streaming ticket previously were able to use the same code to watch again.[9]
Summary[]
Shooting Star Concert can be split into three parts. It opens with Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree, Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak, and Nani Hirunkit Changkham performing "Shooting Star," while suspended on star-shaped platforms. Two cover songs follow; "Dao" and "Super Star," both of which are star themed. Next, each guy is given their own segment. A short pre-recorded video is shown before each, likely allowing time for the stage to be reset for the next. The guys each perform two cover songs. In between the songs, they address the audience, thanking them and explaining details behind the songs they chose. For example, Nani reveals that he came up with the stage concept for his cover of "Honest," while Dew jokingly refers to "Beside You" as his alter-ego song.
A montage of F4 Thailand clips are shown, before Bright, Win, Dew, and Nani play "Who am I." They are dressed in costumes meant to evoke their characters. Win launches into "Silhouette" and is joined by Prim Chanikarn Tangkabodee. It transitions to Nani's "Best Life" with surprise guest, Jan Ployshompoo Supasap. Next, Dew performs "In the Wind" with Fah Yongwaree Anilbol, who departs as Tu Tontawan Tantivejakul comes onstage. "In the Wind" transitions to Tu singing "One Last Cry." Dew leaves and is replaced by Bright. Once "One Last Cry" ends, he plays "Nighttime" with Tu. Gawin Caskey performs "You Mean the World" as the couples all gather around him. The guests say a few words to the audience before leaving.
In the third part, the four continue playing cover songs though in no particular order. The four open with "Fan Kao Khon Prot," followed by Dew and Nani playing "Sesaeng." Next, Bright performs a duet, "Lost Stars," with Caskey. Afterwards, Bright comments that he has wanted to perform on stage with Caskey for a long time. As Caskey departs, Bright is joined by Win to sing "Chan Angkhan Phut Pharuehatsabodi Suk Sao Athit." Dew and Nani come onstage again to play "Sugar" with the other two. A behind the scenes montage is shown, before the four sing another song. They address the audience, thanking them again. The show ends with a final performance of "Shooting Star." They are suspended above again, but this time above the audience.
