"Shock! Horror! Another Red Card!" (
Tsukushi Makino winds up on a magazine cover with Junpei Oribe. Tsukasa Domyoji confronts her about it and ends up confessing his feelings again. Shocked, she does not answer him. Later, Tsukushi receives another red card.
At a bookstore, Yuriko Asai and her friends pick up the latest copy of Treasures. They gush over the cover model before spotting Tsukushi Makino next to him. At school, the girls angrily complain about it with their classmates. Erika Ayuhara speculates that she used a "dirty tactic." Tsukushi then walks into the classroom. The girls quietly glare as she makes her way to her desk. Makiko Endo shows her the magazine. Later, Tsukushi confronts Junpei Oribe about it. Instead of apologizing, he compliments her and suggests she takes up modeling. She suddenly declares "I quit being your friend," leading Junpei to apologize and hug her. He refuses to let go of until she says that she forgives him, which she does.
Just as she pushes Junpei away, Tsukushi notices Tsukasa Domyoji watching them. He asks "What's up with this guy?" She calls him "no one special," but Junpei jokes "I'm Tsukushi's boyfriend." Junpei's taunts cause Tsukasa become enraged. Tsukasa pushes him up against a tree and threatens him. Saying "Let's put it all out on the table," Junpei asks Tsukushi "Do you like this guy?" Tsukushi hesitates, making Tsukasa uneasy. He begins beating up Junpei until Tsukushi yells at him to stop. She declares "I don't like anybody!" and describes how being around him is "suffocating." Tsukushi confesses "You've done a lot for me, but I want to find a more private, quiet happiness." Tsukasa finally lets go of Junpei.
Leading her away from Tsukasa, Junpei puts his arm around a crying Tsukushi. Tsukasa says "I love you so much, it's messing with my mind." Junpei tells him "Haven't you said enough?" Tsukasa continues, saying "If you run, I'll come after you. I'll go to hell or anywhere, if that's what it takes." Tsukushi is shocked, thinking "Domyoji feels that way about me?" Sans disguise, Junpei walks her back to the school. A large horde of female students gather around, but Tsukushi does not notice. That afternoon at home, her thoughts dwell on Tsukasa. She goes over everything that has between them from his first confession to her betrayal and finally him saving her in Canada. Tsukushi thinks "Was that because he still loves me?"
The following day after school, Tsukushi says goodbye to Makiko and heads to work. She resolves to earn enough money to pay back Tsukasa. Junpei stops her to offer to walk her home. Tsukushi notices that he is not wearing his disguise and shows concern over him "stick[ing] out." He insists "I've given up on hiding myself." Someone drops a potted plant from above. It nearly hits Tsukushi, but Junpei pushes her out of the way in time. He wonders if it was Tsukasa's doing. She, however, says "He'd never do something like this." Junpei attempts to cast further doubts. Tsukushi still feels Tsukasa would not be "so underhanded" though she suggests that she and Junpei should not be around together anymore.
Akira Mimasaka and Sojiro Nishikado later run up to Tsukushi. They ask if she has seen Tsukasa, whom has disappeared. Sojiro mentions her modeling with Junpei, warning "Tsukasa's not going to take this laying down." The next day, Tsukushi discovers a red card in her locker. She feels more sad than scared, thinking of it as a "farewell from Domyoji." Tsukushi takes refuge in the library but is found by some students. She escapes through a window. They soon catch up to her. Junpei steps in to protect her, eventually scaring the guys away. He then carries her to the courtyard and leaves briefly to get her a drink. Tsukushi is accosted by four strangers and Junpei returns to find her gone.
