Reina Misato (美里 玲菜 (みさと れいな) Misato Reina, born December 30 in Kawanishi, Japan) is a Takarazuka Revue actress, starting in 2018. She will retire from the Revue in May 2024. Misato played Kazuko Kubo in the 2019 musical, Hana Yori Dango.

Early life[]

Misato was born on December 30 in Kawanishi, Hyogo, Japan.[1] She has an older sister, Airi Kisaki, whom joined the Takarazuka Revue in 2010.[2] Kisaki retired in October 2019.[3]

In March 2018, she graduated from Takarazuka Music School in the 104th class. The group debuted together in Killer Rouge, performing a line dance.[4] Misato was placed in the Flower Troupe (花組 () ) for the production of 2018's Messiah.[5] The same year, she had a minor role in The Prince of Lan Ling.[6] In 2019, Misato appeared in Casanova,[7] Hana Yori Dango,[8] and A Fairy Tale.[9]

On December 25, 2023, it was announced that Misato planned to retire from the Takarazuka Revue on May 26, 2024.[10]
