Raito Kinami (希波 らいと (きなみ らいと) Kinami Raito, born January 13 in Kawasaki, Japan) is a Japanese actress. She is a member of the Takarazuka Revue's Flower Troupe. Kinami appeared in the 2019 Hana Yori Dango musical as Sojiro Nishikado.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Kinami was born January 13 in Kawasaki, Kanagawa.[1] She graduated from Nihon University Junior High School.

Career[]

In 2017, she graduated from the Takarazuka Music School as a member of the 103rd class. Kinami then made her debut with her class in the Snow Troupe production, Dramatic "S"![2] She was placed in Flower Troupe (花組 () ), before appearing in The Poe Clan (2018).[3] Kinami later had minor roles in the newcomer productions (新人公演 () shinjin kouen) of Messiah (2018)[4] and Casanova (2019).[5] She had a major supporting role in Hana Yori Dango.[6] Also in 2019, she appeared in A Fairy Tale starring Rio Asumi.[7] Kinami appeared in Dance Olympia[8] and Haikara-san ga Toru in 2020.[9] In early 2021, she played Henry Stafford in Prince of Roses starring Asuka Seino.[10] Kinami also appeared in Augustus: The Illustrious One[11] and Gin-chan's Love that year.[12]

In late 2021 and early 2022, Kinami will be appearing in Genroku Baroque Rock. She will be performing the lead role in the newcomer edition of the production.[13]
