Ploynira Hiruntaveesin (Thai: พลอยนิรา หิรัญทวีศิลป์, born October 29, 1994), also known by her nickname Kapook (Thai: กระปุก) and formerly known as Phatchara Thabthong (Thai: พัชรา ทับทอง), is a Thai actress and model. She is best known for her supporting roles in Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area and Tonhon Chonlatee, and her main role in The Player.

Hiruntaveesin played Jane in the Thai drama, F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.

Biography

Early life

Hiruntaveesin was born on October 29, 1994. She has an older sister and a younger brother. Her sister, Joy Patcharee Thabthong, is a former actress. Hiruntaveesin graduated from the demonstration school affiliated with Srinakharinwirot University and earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Bangkok University.

Career

At the age of fourteen, Hiruntaveesin began booking commercials. In 2016, she had a supporting role as Orn in GMMTV's Senior Secret Love: My Lil Boy. She reprised her role in the sequel that premiered later the same year. The following year, Hiruntaveesin appeared in the Channel 3 series Roi Pa Wai Duay Rak. In 2018, she appeared in the GMM 25 series' Kiss Me Again and Roop Thong, followed by Channel 3's Sanae Rak Nang Cin and Line TV's Seua Chanee Gayng: Freshy. That same year, Hiruntaveesin had her first main role portraying Pan in Love Songs Love Series: Sabai Sabai. She appeared in Rak Nee Hua Jai Rao Jong playing Lalita in 2019. In 2020, Hiruntaveesin had supporting roles in Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area, Tonhon Chonlatee, and Khun Mae Mafia.

In early 2021, Hiruntaveesin had guest roles in Girl2K, Nabi, My Stepdarling, and Fish Upon the Sky. The same year, she had supporting roles in Oh My Boss starring Mook Worranit Thawornwong and Irresistible starring Aom Sushar Manaying. In late 2021, Hiruntaveesin had her second main role in the ensemble drama, The Player, and a supporting role in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers. In 2022, she appeared in Astrophile, Good Old Days, and The Three GentleBros. In 2023, Thabthong had supporting roles in Midnight Series: Dirty Laundry as Momay and in The Jungle as Puinun.

Personal life

Hiruntaveesin is currently in a relationship with fellow actor Krating Khunnarong Pratesrat. As of 2023, they have been together for seven years.
