Methas Jarustiwa (Thai: เมธัส จรัสทิวา), better known by his nickname MJ (Thai: เอ็มเจ), was a member of the F4 with his best friends Thyme, Kavin, and Ren. He was from a famous mafia family. As a teenager, MJ attended Kocher High School with his friends.

MJ was born on February 28,[2] 2003[3] into a mafia family, known for being the largest owners of entertainment venues in Thailand.[5] He became friends with Thyme Akira Paramaanantra, Ren Renrawin Aira, and Kavin Taemiyaklin Kittiyangkul when they were young. The four were also befriended by Mira Renita Asavarattanakul.[6] They attended Pucheng International School.[7]
High school[]
By upper-secondary school, MJ and his best friends were known as the F4. They had gained significant control over Kocher High School, where Thyme implemented a bullying "game" by giving students red cards. Though there were rules about not posting the game on social media, MJ sometimes had to step in to keep it quiet. For example, when Phupha Komolpetch plotted to expose them, MJ had his men erase all the evidence.[5]

Meeting Gorya[]
One day, a student named Hana Vidalha Malakarn offended Thyme. MJ told Thyme to "go easy on her." Gorya Thitara Jundee then stood up for her friend, earning Thyme's ire for herself instead. After Gorya received a red card, MJ informed Thyme that he had "gone too far" this time. He refused to admit it, frustrating MJ. The next day, the F3 witnessed Gorya kick Thyme and declare that she would "never give up."[5] Gorya subsequently gained support on social media, which concerned MJ. After hearing that Thyme kidnapped Gorya, MJ tried to convince him to cancel the red card. Thyme ignored him again. The following night, the F4 went to pick up Mira from the airport. They went her welcome back party afterwards. There MJ and Kavin exclaimed in shock when Gorya and Thyme accidentally kissed.[8]

Physical appearance[]
MJ was noted for his "bad boy" image, which made him popular with women. He wore his black hair in a short ponytail with the left and right sides shaved. MJ was usually seen wearing black with an occasional splash of color. His black leather jacket was evidently his most used article of clothing. Like his friends, his clothes were all name brand.

Etymology[]
MJ's name does not mean anything in particular as it only comes from the English letters M (เอ็ม) and J (เจ).[10][11] It is short for his full name, Methas Jarustiwa.[12]
