Nishidome (西留,Nishidome) was the owner of a chain of hotels. He was the father of Megumi Nishidome, a popular model.[1] She transferred to Eitoku Academy after meeting Haruto Kaguragi at one of her father's hotels.
The two characters in Nishidome 西留,西留 have various meanings. 西 (にし),西 (にし) means "west" and can also refer to Europe or be short for Spain.[2]留,留 means "stop" or "halt".[3] It uses the kun'yomi pronunciation, though it is read as どめ,どめ due to rendaku.
Takahiro Fujimoto portrays him in episode seven of Hana Nochi Hare (2018). He conspires with Haruto'sfather to form an engagement between their children. Megumi rejects it, wanting to win Haruto's affectation on her own. Later, the two start dating and their fathers begin brokering a deal between their companies.
