Maria Lynn Ehren (Thai: มาเรีย ลินน์ เอียเรียน, born January 18, 1992 in Bangkok, Thailand), also known professionally as Maria Poonlertlarp (Thai: มารีญา พูลเลิศลาภ), is a Thai-Swedish actress, model, singer, and environmental activist. She is also a beauty pageant titleholder, being crowned Miss Universe Thailand in 2017. Poonlertlarp played Tia in the drama, F4 Thailand.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Poonlertlarp was born on January 18, 1992 in Bangkok, Thailand to her parents, Göran Ehren and Chanoksuang Poonlertlarp. She has two older brothers who are twins. At age two, her family moved to Hanoi for her father's job. They returned to Thailand when Poonlertlarp was seven.[1]

She completed her high school education at International School Bangkok. Poonlertlarp received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and her master's from Stockholm Business School.[2]

Career[]

Around age fourteen, Poonlertlarp began her modelling career and eventually became a model for Vogue Thailand.[3] In 2010, she released a single titled "Boong" on the label, Smallroom.[4] It was included on her album, Maxi Singles (2012).[1] Poonlertlarp was crowned Miss Universe Thailand in 2017.[5] She went on to represent Thailand at Miss Universe, where she placed in the top five.[6] Poonlertlarp served as a mentor on season five of The Face Thailand. That year's winner, Candy Tansiri, was on her team.[7] The same year, Poonlertlarp appeared in the drama Wolf starring fellow The Face mentor, Toni Rakkaen.[8] In 2021, she starred in Eng and Chang as Adelaide Yates.[9] Poonlertlarp appeared in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers playing Tia during early 2022.[10]

Personal life[]

Poonlertlarp has been in a relationship with musician, writer, and documentary producer Singh Wannasingh Prasertkul since mid-2020.[11]
