Biography[]
One morning, Makoto's mother was walking him to school when he came upon a baseball in the road.[1] His mother later put the ball up for auction. The ball sold for two hundred million yen. Makoto and his mother were interviewed about it for the news.[2]
Physical appearance[]
Makoto was a young boy of primary school age. He had a round face and short hair. Makoto was only seen wearing his school uniform, consisting of a button-up long-sleeved shirt, plaid shorts, and a hat.
Etymology[]
Makoto (マコト) is a Japanese unisex name though it is more commonly used for males. He uses katakana to spell his name, giving it no particular meaning. However, as a noun makoto can mean "sincerity" (誠) or "truth" (真, 眞).[3]
