Not to be confused with Mako (Yuki's friend).

Mako (真子 (まこ) ) was a friend of Sara Hinata. She attended Metropolitan High School, where she was a member of the Tea Ceremony Club. Her friends Sara, Hiromi, and Yuki Matsuoka were also members of the club.

Biography[]

High school[]

Mako attended a public high school, where she joined the Tea Ceremony Club. Her friends Sara Hinata, Hiromi, and Yuki Matsuoka also joined the club. When their club instructor went on maternity leave, Yuki asked Sojiro Nishikado to be their instructor for one lesson.[1] Mako and Hiromi were both excited for the lesson upon seeing Sojiro. They asked him to come teach them again once the lesson was over.[2]

Physical appearance[]

Mako was a teenaged girl of normal build and height. She had short, black hair with short bangs. Mako wore casual clothing to school since it was public.

Etymology[]

Mako (真子; まこ) is a Japanese female given name. The two kanji together are usually read as Masako, but in this case it is Mako.[3] The name means "truth," "reality" (真)[4] and "child" (子).[5] The second kanji (子) is also a suffix often added to female given names.
