M (えむ Emu) was a student at Eitoku Academy. He witnessed Tsukasa Domyoji and Tsukushi Makino "arm-in-arm" one early morning. M snapped a picture of them and gave it to the school's news. He was kept anonymous, going by the initial M and placing a black bar over his eyes in his photo.

• In Viz's edition, he is referred to as an "eyewitness" instead of the initial "M."
