"Love Triangle from Hell!" (
After punching Tsukasa Domyoji, Shigeru Okawahara annoys him by declaring her intentions to fall in love with him. She later drags Tsukushi Makino to a cafe. By mistake, Tsukushi ends up agreeing to help her with Tsukasa.
Plot[]
Shigeru Okawahara punches Tsukasa Domyoji. She then declares "You know, I like you!" Tsukasa starts to overcome his shock when she mentions them getting married. Sensing his anger, Akira Mimasaka and Sojiro Nishikado both grab him to stop him from hitting Shigeru. He claims "You know I wouldn't hit a girl!," but neither of the guys believe him. Tsukasa starts shouting at Shigeru, telling her "I have no attention of marrying, much less falling in love with you!" She corrects him "You mean 'intention,' don't you?" which makes him more mad. Akira and Sojiro beg Tsukushi Makino, who has been scowling the entire time, to take Shigeru away. She ignores them and walks away.
Tsukushi is still fuming when Shigeru catches up with her. She asks her out for tea, which Tsukushi tries to refuse since she has a class. Shigeru keeps saying "please" and Tsukushi goes along with it. After sneaking out of school, they sit down at a tea shop. Tsukushi finds herself thinking of how "self-centered" rich people are. Shigeru makes some small talk, before asking "What do you think of Domyoji?" Thinking she knows what she wants, Tsukushi firmly states "There's absolutely nothing going on between Tsukasa and me." Shigeru instead wants to know whether he is "good at sex," which takes Tsukushi off guard. Now embarrassed, Tsukushi tells her to "try him out" if she wants to know so badly.
Shigeru confides in Tsukushi that she felt her parents "would bring [her] a spoiled little rich boy," but now feels hopeful about Tsukasa who she calls a "breath of fresh air." She then says "I've decided to have myself a real love affair." Irritated, Tsukushi answers "Why don't you go ahead and do what you want? It has absolutely nothing to do with me!" She realizes she was being harsh and tries to apologize. Shigeru starts talking first, telling Tsukushi that she has a hard time making friends due to her being self-centered sometimes. She says "I'm causing you trouble, aren't I?," but Tsukushi answers "Just a little." Now happy, Shigeru asks for her help. Tsukushi agrees on reflex, before realizing what she has agreed to do.
Thinking of the scope of her situation, Tsukushi calls it a "love triangle from hell." Shigeru starts playing with Tsukushi's toy, which Tsukasa had given to her in Canada. She remembers what happened between her and Tsukasa back then, making her blush even now. Tsukushi decides internally that she cannot help Shigeru. She comes clean to her, admitting that Tsukasa has said that he loves her. Shigeru, however, is not bothered once Tsukushi claims that she does not feel the same way. She even tells her "You'll turn him towards me, and make him forget you." That afternoon, Tsukushi walks home thinking of Shigeru's words. She wonders "Is falling in love such an easy thing?," though she is sure that it is not so for herself.
The next day, Tsukushi heads to the emergency exit to continue thinking about the concept of love. Her thoughts are interrupted by Rui Hanazawa's arrival. He feels "hazy" from not sleeping well, so Tsukushi offers to give him a head massage. Working her fingers through his hair, Tsukushi is reminded of how much she used to look forward to seeing him. She stops, finding herself blushing. Rui asks if she has a fever and feels her forehead. Tsukushi then uses her leg to push him away, accidentally exposing her panties. Trying to cover herself, she nearly falls over but Rui catches her. He lets go after seeing her face, saying "Don't look at me like that." After he leaves, Tsukushi thinks "Something's wrong with me."
