Liang Jing Kang (Chinese: 梁靖康; pinyin: Liáng Jìngkāng, born January 3, 1994 in Shenzhen, China), also known as Leon Leong and formerly Connor Leong, is a Chinese actor and model. Liang is best known for playing Feng Mei Zuo in the 2018 drama, Meteor Garden.
Biography
Early life
Liang was born on January 3, 1994 in Shenzhen in the Guangdong province of China. He attended South China Institute of Software Engineering in Guangzhou University. In college, he began modelling and filming advertisements.[1]
Career
In 2017, Liang appeared as a customer to Huang Lei's character in Midnight Diner and had a supporting role in the historical comedy Huang Fei Hong.[2] The same year, he starred in the film Cat Lover directed by He Zhi Yi.[3] Liang began appearing regularly on the Youku variety show Super Idol (超次元偶像) with Dylan Wang.[2] In November 2017, he and his Meteor Garden (2018) costars Dylan Wang, Darren Chen, and Caesar Wu appeared in Harper's Bazaar China.[4] His role as Feng Mei Zuo was later announced at a press conference in Shanghai.[5] In 2019, Liang appeared in Another Me starring Shen Yue[6] and Project 17: Side By Side.[7] He most recently appeared in the television dramas, My Love, Enlighten Me[8] and Run for Young,[9] and the film Midnight Diner (2019).[10]
