Shiori Yoshida (吉田 詩織 (よしだ しおり) Yoshida Shiori, born June 7 in Ota, Tokyo, Japan), also known by her stage name Kei Yunami (優波 慧 (ゆうなみ けい) Yūnami Kei), is a former actress from the Takarazuka Revue. She joined the company in 2010 and officially retired in February 2022. Yunami played Akira Mimasaka in the 2019 Hana Yori Dango musical.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Yunami was born June 7 in the Ota ward of Tokyo, Japan.[1] She first came across the Takarazuka Revue, when she began planning to stage Elisabeth at her school.[2]

Career[]

Takarazuka[]

In 2010, Yunami graduated from the Takarazuka Music School in the 96th class. Her debut performance was in The Scarlet Pimpernel.[2] She was subsequently assigned to the Flower Troupe and made an appearance in their Uruwashi no Sabrina (2010).[3] The same year, she had a minor role in Code Hero starring Manato Asaka.[4] Further small and supporting roles followed in Phantom (2011),[5] Resurrection (2012),[6] Ocean's Eleven (2013),[7] The Poem of Love and Revolution (2013),[8] Elisabeth (2014),[9] and The New Tale of Genji (2015).[10] Yunami's first lead role was in the newcomer production (新人公演 () shinjin kouen) of Me and My Girl, which she shared with Hikari Ayaki, in 2016.[11] The same year, she participated in her final newcomer production, which was Golden Desert.[12]

Yunami appeared in Wind Over Yamataikoku[13] and Hanna's Florist in 2017.[14] The following year, she had a double role in The Poe Clan,[15] and supporting roles in Love Blooms Out on the Murasakino[16] and Messiah.[17] Following the end of Casanova in April 2019,[18] Yunami appeared in Hana Yori Dango as Akira Mimasaka.[19] Later that year, she appeared in A Fairy Tale starring Rio Asumi.[20] In 2020, Yunami made appearances in Dance Olympia[21] and Haikara-san ga Toru starring Yuzuka.[22] Yunami had a supporting role in the Asuka Seino starrer Prince of Roses in early 2021.[23] She went on to appear in Augustus: The Illustrious One[24] and Sorrowful Cordoba the same year.[25] Following the end of Genroku Baroque Rock, Yunami retired from the Takarazuka Revue in February 2022.[26]

Post-Takarazuka[]

In September 2023, Yunami revealed her real name, Shiori Yoshida, in an interview with Domani.[27] She currently works under her real name at Loveless Aoyama, a select shop for apparel.[28]
