Kanaphan Puitrakul (Thai: คณพันธ์ ปุ้ยตระกูล, born September 3, 1998 in Bangkok, Thailand), better known as First (Thai: เฟิร์ส), is a Thai actor who currently belongs to GMMTV. He is best known for his roles in Wake Up Ladies: The Series, Blacklist, and The Shipper. Puitrakul appeared in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers as Phupha.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Puitrakul was born on September 3, 1998. He graduated from Suankularb Wittayalai School.[1] In 2021, Puitrakul earned his bachelor's degree from Srinakharinwirot University with honors.[2]
Career[]
In 2016, Puitrakul starred in the short film, The Assassin.[3] He and his costar were chosen out of one hundred students.[4] The following year, Puitrakul participated in the "Cool Man, Good Man 2017-18" contest, placing fourth and appearing in a shoot for Kazz.[1] Later that same year, he appeared in a lip balm commercial which went viral for its BL themes.[5] In 2018, Puitrakul made his television debut in GMMTV's Wake Up Ladies: The Series.[6] The following year, he starred in the ensemble dramas, Wolf[7] and Blacklist.[8] Puitrakul starred in The Shipper as Kim[9] and appeared in the sequel series Wake Up Ladies: Very Complicated in 2020.[10] In late 2021, he had a main role in Not Me[11] and a guest role in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.[12]
In mid-2022, Puitrakul had a supporting role in Astrophile.[13] He followed with a lead role in the BL series The Eclipse with Khaotung Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan.[14] In early 2023, he appeared in Midnight Series: Moonlight Chicken.[15] Puitrakul then reprised his The Eclipse character in the anthology, Our Skyy 2 (2023).[16] His final role for the year was playing Sand in Only Friends, in which he reunited with Rattanakitpaisan.[17]
