Author

Kogyoku Ikeda (池田 紅玉 (いけだ　こうぎょく) , Ikeda Kōgyoku, born 1951) is a Nihon University and California State University graduate and English lecturer. She worked at Harvard University as a visiting reasearcher for a time. Ikeda returned to Japan in 1996 and has taught at Aoyama Gakuin University, Nihon University, etc. She has published thirty books from 1986 to 2014 about the English language. Some of them also use manga, like Chibi Maruko-chan and Dr. Slump, as a tool.
