Hana Yori Dango II: Shooting Star (花より男子II–Shooting STAR–) is an upcoming musical based on Yoko Kamio's Boys Over Flowers and produced by the Takarazuka Revue. It is the company's second musical to be based on the manga after Hana Yori Dango (2019). Chisei Akatsuki and Chizuru Uta of the Star Troupe will star in the production.[1] The musical will open on June 9, 2026 at the Misono-za in Nagoya, Japan.[2]

Production[]
On December 12, 2025, the Takarazuka Revue announced their plans to produce a second musical based on Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio. It serves as a sequel to their 2019 musical. The Star Troupe's (星組) top otokoyaku and musumeyaku, Chisei Akatsuki and Chizuru Uta, will star as the leads. Kosaku Noguchi, who wrote and directed the 2019 musical, will also write and direct the sequel.[1] Akatsuki and Uta's roles as Tsukasa Domyoji and Tsukushi Makino were formally announced on January 13, 2026. Kanon Amato, Kai Mitsurugi, and Hayate Taiki joined the cast as the other members of the F4.[3] The full cast of Hana Yori Dango II was revealed on February 1.[4]
