Hana Yori Dango is a Japanese drama adaptation of Boys Over Flowers that was originally broadcast in 2005.[1] It was followed by Hana Yori Dango Returns (2007)[2] and Hana Yori Dango Final (2008).[3] A large number of merchandise was produced by TBS, such as a novelization of the film.

- Hana Yori Dango Final: Photo Book: a book containing stills from Final as well as behind the scenes images and magazine articles. The book was published on June 12, 2008.[45]
- Hana Yori Dango Final: a novelization of the film, also features an interview of Jun Matsumoto and Mao Inoue. It was released on June 28, 2008.[46]
Misc.[]
- Customers who purchased advanced tickets to Hana Yori Dango Final were given an exclusive post card set. It was limited to 200,000 sets.[47][48]
- From May 3, 2008, customers who purchased tickets at Bic Camera Yurakucho were able to purchase a Final keitai cleaner at a discount.[49]
- At FamilyMart, people were able to buy an advanced ticket that came with a changing strap, which was also sold by TBS. It functioned as a phone strap or bracelet and had Swarovski crystal elements. It was available for purchase until June 22.[50][51]
- Hana Yori Dango Final had a collaboration with FamilyMart from June to July 2008. Customers who spent over 500 yen on certain products were able to enter a lottery to win a prize. The prizes were a replica of the Saturn necklace, the same one sold by TBS, or an exclusive set of glass cups. Customers were also able to purchase a number of food items.[52][53]
- In August 2008, the website veryWed hosted a campaign to celebrate the release of Final in Taiwan. The prizes included tickets to the film as well as exclusive items provided by the Taiwanese distributor Sansui and one by veryWed itself.[54]
