General[]
On January 23, 2018, an official Twitter for Hana Nochi Hare was opened under "hanahare_tbs".[1] A web page on TBS's website was also opened.[2] On February 16, an Instagram was opened under the username, "oto_edogawa," and was referred to as "Oto Gram" (音グラム).[3] These were frequently updated with new photos and information. The web page in particular added interviews from the stars[4] and other behind the scenes information.[5]
Events[]
Crank-In[]
The drama celebrated its crank-in, the start of filming, in mid-February 2018. It was covered by the press who took pictures of the cast during and after filming and also asked questions.[6] Hana Sugisaki, Sho Hirano, Taishi Nakagawa, Tatsuomi Hamada, Marie Iitoyo, Mio Imada, Jin Shirasu, and Keisuke Nakata were all present at the crank-in.[7][8]
Tokyo Girls Collection[]
Sugisaki, Nakagawa, and Iitoyo appeared at the Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) show, which took place at the Yokohama Arena on March 31, 2018. Sugisaki and Nakagawa walked the runway together. At the end of the show, they posed with Iitoyo.[9] Sho also walked the runway for the first time at the show.[10]
Preview[]

Two hundred people were selected to attend a special preview of the first episode of Hana Nochi Hare.[11][12] It took place at Yebisu Garden Place on April 7, 2018.[13] Sugisaki, Hirano, Nakagawa, Hamada, Iitoyo, Imada, Shirasu, and Nakata attended the preview. Afterwards, the actors went outside to the red carpet where one thousand fans were gathered outside.[14]
Exhibition[]
An exhibit, titled Hana Nochi Hare Blu-ray & DVD Commemorative Costume & Photo Exhibition (花のち晴れ~花男 Next Season~ Blu-ray&DVD発売記念 着用衣装&写真展), was set up at HMV & Books Shibuya located in the Shibuya Modi in Tokyo. It went on from October 25 to November 7, 2018.[15] Among the items on display were the costumes worn by Sugisaki, Hirano, and Nakagawa as well as their signboards used in the opening sequence. Photos, the withdrawal notice, and the gold pig were also there.[16]

Television[]
On March 10, Hana Sugisaki, Sho Hirano, and Taishi Nakagawa were interviewed on King's Brunch for their "New Spring Drama Report."[27] Hirano's group King & Prince performed "Cinderella Girl" on "CDTV Special! Graduation Song Music Festival" the same month.[28] Nakagawa and Sugisaki were also interviewed for the special.[29] On March 31, Sugisaki, Hirano, Nakagawa, Tatsuomi Hamada, Marie Iitoyo, Haruka Kinami, Saki Takaoka, and Momoko Kikuchi appeared on TBS's All-Star Thanksgiving.[30]

Collaborations[]
FamilyMart[]
From May 9 to 29, 2018, FamilyMart held two promotional campaigns for Hana Nochi Hare. For the first campaign, customers were able to choose one of four clear files if they bought two specially tagged products. The second campaign was a sweepstakes. Customers who spent more than 500 yen and bought at least two of the tagged products were entered into a lottery. The prizes were a poster signed by Sugisaki, a pre-paid card worth 1,000 yen, and an assortment of snacks.[32]
