Giuseppe grew up in Tuscany, Italy, where his father worked as a gardener at the Hanazawa family's mansion. He often roamed around the grounds. At some point, he met Rui Hanazawa and the two became friends. His best friend was a girl named Viola, though the two got into fights often. Giuseppe talked about one of their fights to Rui, who then "Is she the girl you like?" He vehemently denied liking her. Rui laughed and told Giuseppe that he reminded him of a friend.
Giuseppe was an Italian child, likely of average height and weight. He had similar looks to how Tsukasa Domyoji was as a child. His short, curly hair was covered by his hat.
