Plot[]
Dao Ming Si confesses his feelings to Dong Shan Cai again. However, she finds it unbelievable that he still loves her and Xiao Shun steers her away before she can say anything. Some days later, the F3 realize they have not seen Si at school for days. Meanwhile, Shan Cai finds a red slip in her locker. Chen Qing He helps her escape from some bullies. Three men kidnap her while Qing He is acting as a distraction. He calls the F3, whom are at Si's house, to inform them about the red slip. The guys decide to prioritize finding Si. Shan Cai wakes up bound to a chair in a warehouse. She is stunned to find that one of her captors is Xiao Shun. He reveals that he has been using her to get revenge on Si for hurting his friend.
The F3 finally locate Si, who has just returned from a trip. A maid delivers a photo of Shan Cai tied-up. He then receives a call from Xiao Shun telling him to come alone. Against his friends' wishes, he does as Xiao Shun says. He allows the men to beat him with baseball bats as Shan Cai yells at them to stop. Xiao Shun attempts to hit him with a chair, but Shan Cai blocks him. He then leaves, taking his accomplices with him. Shan Cai asks she why he did not fight back. Si reveals that he restrained himself to keep her safe, before passing out. At the hospital, Shan Cai dreams about Si jumping off a rooftop. She immediately goes to see him. The F3 play a joke on her by pretending that Si is dead, which makes her furious.
Before the F3 leave, Si gives them a note on his attackers and adds that he wants to deal with Xiao Shun personally. Shan Cai starts to cry, revealing how scared she was that he was going to die. Xiao Shun then walks in the room, taking them by surprise. He feels that he does not owe Si an apology, but feels sorry for hurting Shan Cai. She does not accept his apology, replying that it is "too late." However, her thoughts reveal that she may be able to forgive him one day. Later, the F3 come to visit and start talking about Si's love for her. Shan Cai attempts to dodge the conversation and leave, but they stop her and point out Si's good points. Backed into a corner, she finally replies by saying he is like a "little dog" to her.
After being discharged from the hospital, Shan Cai struggles to decide how she feels about Si. At the same time, Si agonizes over being compared to a dog by the woman he loves. Hua Ze Lei decides to help Si and tells Shan Cai how serious Si is about her. They are interrupted by Si, whom has been discharged and come to school to see Shan Cai. He invites her to his birthday party and declares his intention to introduce her to his mother. Later at work, Shan Cai tells Xiao You about Si's invitation. Xiao You teases her about it being like an engagement, which Shan Cai dismisses. She voices her worries about a gift since she has little money left for the month. Xiao You suggests baking cookies and offers to help.
On the day of the party, Lei, Mei Zuo, and Xi Men arrive at Shan Cai's house to pick her up. They rush her to Si's house to dress her in one of Zhuang's old dresses. Shan Cai asks them if there is a "special significance to this party." The F3 reveal that Shan Cai coming to the party is like Si introducing her to his mother as a potential fiancée. Shan Cai tries to leave, but the F3 stop her. Finally, they enter the party and she wishes Si a happy birthday, though she hesitates on giving Si his gift. She then accidentally causes a scene, when Si grabs her to meet his mom. She notices the commotion and attempts to oust Shan Cai from the party. The F3 cover for her by making up a lie about her being from a wealthy family.
