The Edogawa family lived in an apartment in Tokyo. Oto Edogawa and her mother Yukie lived their together, when her father Makoto went to Kyushu. He stayed in the apartment while visiting. The family later split up when Oto decided to stay in Tokyo and her parents left for Kyushu.
The Edogawas apartment is one of the main locations in Hana Nochi Hare: Hanadan Next Season (2018). It was filmed at a real apartment complex in Shinjuku, which is a popular spot for dramas to shoot.[1]
