Ke Huan Ru (Chinese: 柯奐如; pinyin: Kē Huànrú, born December 30, 1980 in Taiwan), also known as Christine Ke, is a Taiwanese actress. Ke is best known for playing He Yuan Zi in the 2001 drama, Meteor Garden.

Ke was born on December 30, 1980 in Taiwan. She graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts.

Ke began her career by appearing in commercials in Taiwan and Hong Kong. In 2001, she made her television drama debut in a supporting role as He Yuan Zi in Meteor Garden.[1] She starred in the 2002 film, Love at 7-11 with Kenji Wu. Ke made two television films for TS in 2003. The following year, she had a supporting role as Obing Tadao in the period drama, Dana Sakura. She also appeared with Barbie Hsu and Blue Lan in the third story of Say Yes Enterprise.

She appeared in 2005 mockumentary What on Earth Have I Done Wrong?! as the best fried of Janine Chang's character. Also in 2005, she portrayed Zhao Ding Yu in The Dream Returns to Qing He. Ke starred in Bie Shuo Aiqing Ku (別說愛情苦) alongside Chinese actress Ma Yili and had a small role in Dangerous Mind in 2006. She co-starred with Dean Fujioka in the 2007 film, Summer's Tail. In 2008, she appeared in the Taiwanese-German co-production Ghosted, which was directed by Monika Treut. The same year, she was in Bull Fighting starring Mike He and Hebe Tien.

In 2010, Ke reunited with Barbie Hsu in the melodrama, Summer's Desire. She starred in David Verbeek's R U There, a joint production between the Netherlands, France, and Taiwan. Ke appeared in TTV's Lion's Daughter in 2011 to commemorate the founding of Taiwan. In 2012, she appeared in the third segment of When Yesterday Comes as the daughter of Tan Ai-chen's character. Ke had a supporting role in the 2014 historical drama, Brave Forward. She appeared alongside Lan in TTV's third part of their Q Series, Jiang Teacher, You Talked About Love. In 2017, she starred in a television film, titled An Angel at My Table.

Personal life[]

After three years of marriage, Ke separated from her husband in February 2017. They mutually decided to divorce the following August. Ke has kept her former husband's identity a secret and only revealed their marriage after the divorce.[2]
