"I had a dream. I saw you die. I was so scared. I thought you would die. After what I said, I was sure you wouldn't come. But, like a fool, you came... And... You were punched, kicked by those rotten punks. I was sure you were dead, then you went and played that trick on me!"
Tsukushi Makino wakes up from a nightmare and finds herself in the hospital. She runs off to find Tsukasa Domyoji, who appears to be dead though it is only a joke. Tsukushi later admits that she was scared of him really dying.
Tsukasa Domyoji approaches the edge of the roof. Tsukushi Makino asks him "Where are you going?!" and warns him not to get to close to the edge. He tells her "You hate me, don't you?" She says "I don't hate you," but Tsukasa walks off the roof before she can reach him. Tsukushi wakes up screaming "No!" She finds herself in a hospital room with her worried mother and father hovering over her. Heart beating fast, Tsukushi remembers Tsukasa passing out and runs out of the room to the nearest nurses' station.
Tsukushi runs up to Rui Hanazawa to ask about Tsukasa, but he stays silent. She slowly enters Tsukasa's room. Sojiro Nishikado informs her "He went peacefully." Tsukushi then goes to Tsukasa's body, taking off the cloth covering his face and yelling "You can't die!" She goes on to call him a "fool." Tsukasa's eyes snap open and he tells her "Is that any way to talk about your savior?" Sojiro and Akira Mimasaka burst out laughing, which Tsukasa joins in on. They then have to stop Tsukushi from choking Tsukasa.
Akira, Sojiro, and Rui leave after Tsukasa hands them a list of the guys who beat him up. Junpei is also listed but Tsukasa wrote "Leave this one to me" beside him. Tsukushi gives Tsukasa the cold shoulder until he eventually gets her to talk. She reveals her dream about him dying and starts crying, saying "I was sure you were dead." To himself, Tsukasa thinks "This girl is so adorable." He then apologizes and pats her head. The two are laughing and bickering as usual, when Junpei Oribe opens the door to the room.
