Chapter 81 (第81話 () , Chapter 81) of Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio was published in early September 1995. The chapter was first released in the manga magazine, Margaret. It was was followed by chapter eighty-two, also in September, and was collected in volume thirteen.

Tsukushi Makino allows Yuriko Asai and her friends to stay despite everything that happened. They later show that they are not sorry for their actions after all. Tsukushi then decides to get revenge by playing a trick on them with the F4's help.

Plot

Yuriko Asai, Erika Ayuhara, and Minako Yamano beg Tsukushi Makino for forgiveness. Tsukasa Domyoji suggests they "feed them to grizzly bears," while Sakurako Sanjo says they should hang them outside and turn them into icicles. Tsukushi tells everyone to "forget it." Tsukasa yells at her for being "stupid," saying "Those bitches almost killed you!" Tsukushi tells him not to say things like that in front of Yuki Matsuoka. She and Tsukasa then make eye contact, leading them to blush thinking of the night before.

After Tsukasa left, Yuki says to Tsukushi "You've got it hard haven't you?," talking about the three girls. She then comments "But the F4 are different" and reveals how angry Rui Hanazawa was at the girls. Yuriko and her friends enter the room. They each insult Tsukushi, exposing their true feelings. Yuriko even states "Too bad you didn't die." After they have left, Yuki is shocked by how "awful" they are and starts to cry. Tsukushi tells her "I may not want to show it, but for the first time in a long while, I'm really mad."

The next morning, Tsukushi approaches Rui while the others are out skiing. She thanks him for confronting the girls and then enlists him in a plan to get back at them. That night, everyone gathers around to tell a ghost story. Tsukushi's plan is to have Akira Mimasaka jump out at a certain point during Sojiro Nishikado's story. It appears to be working as they start to hear strange noises from the front door. No one notices when Akira jumps out from a direction away from the noises.
