Chapter 76 (第76花 () , Chapter 76), also called Episode 76 (76話 () , Episode 76), of Yoko Kamio's Boys Over Flowers Season 2 was first released on July 8, 2018 simultaneously in both Japan and America. The chapter was later published in volume eleven. It was followed by chapter seventy-seven on July 22.

Haruto Kaguragi throws a summer festival at his home to celebrate with Oto Edogawa and his friends. Oto recalls her first festival, when she was lost and Tenma Hase found her. The memory causes Oto to feel guilty.

Plot

As a child, Oto Edogawa frantically runs around looking for her parents. Present-day Oto snaps out of her memories when Arisa Konno calls her name. She thanks Haruto Kaguragi for inviting her to his summer festival. Haruto then tells her to eat something, though she is already eating. He opens his mouth saying "Ahh...". Oto refuses at first, before shoving in a piece of hot takoyaki, thus ruining his "first ahh". To herself, Oto comments how "comfortable" she feels.

Issa Narumiya and Sugimaru Eibi walk up to Oto and Haruto. Sugimaru mentions Haruto worrying about her, when she did not answer his text and that she was not home when the yukata was delivered. Haruto plays it off, but Oto feels guilty for worrying him. She starts to feel the "huge weight in [her] heart" again, before Konno draws her attention to the festival games. Haruto wins a "bracelet that grants any wish," a mail-order item that Kobayashi presumably saved.

Issa and Sugimaru join the goldfish-scooping game with Konno and Mi-tan, getting along surprisingly well. Haruto asks Oto "Is this what it's like?," referring to festivals. Oto calls it "spot-on" and begins telling him about getting lost at one when she was a child. She stops short of the ending. Haruto then goes to kiss her. Oto remembers Tenma Hase finding her at that festival and pulls away. Airi Maya arrives and bear-hugs Oto. Haruto looks down at his prize, saying "And here I thought that my wish had already been granted."

• In Viz's volume release, a few sentences were changed, including "I have this memory of a festival, I was lost" to "I went to a festival once and I got lost."
