In the third round, a group of children is brought in to determine who will make the better mother. Tsukushi Makino has a bad start, but manages to win them over. She and Ayano Kurimaki then play with the children together.
Tsukushi Makino and Ayano Kurimaki are isolated in a room with a group of twenty-one children. The two girls have thirty minutes to determine which one will make the better mother and therefore win Teen of Japan. Somewhat daunted, Tsukushi approaches one child named Ryusuke Hayama. He rudely says "Is she s'posed to be pretty?" To herself, Tsukushi thinks "This is why I always want to smack rich kids!" Meanwhile, Ayano has drawn the children's attention with her piano playing
Tsukushi begins searching the toys, looking for something to counteract Ayano. Ryusuke and his friends return to Tsukushi. The boys criticize her, saying thing's like "Why's she even in this contest?" Annoyed, Tsukushi realizes the boys remind her of a "mini F4." She decides to teach the "little punks" a lesson. Tsukushi challenges Ryusuke to kendama and laughs at him when he cannot do it. He then challenges her to several tasks, all of which she can do. Ryusuke concedes "You're pretty good. For a girl."
Soon the children begin gathering around Tsukushi and abandoning Ayano. Tsukushi calls her over to come join them. To herself, Ayano thinks "Now I can see why Seinosuke fell in love with you." The two then begin happily playing jump rope with the children. Once thirty minutes is up, the children want to play more. Tsukushi and Ayano are surprised by how fast the time flew by and then shake hands. The emcee asks "Which 'big sister' did they enjoy playing with more?" to the children whom will determine the winner.
