Chapter 66 (
Oto Edogawa's feelings are hurt by Haruto Kaguragi. Kei Windsor tries to comfort her, though she is surprisingly calm. She later learns from Kaito Taira that Airi Maya likes Tenma Hase. Meanwhile, Haruto tells Kobayashi to return to his job.
Plot[]
In a park, Kei Windsor sits with Oto Edogawa. Oto tells Kei that he can go home, to which he says "I can't leave you here like this." He feels responsible for Haruto Kaguragi's harsh words, though she states "I'm used to it." Kei warns her not to become use to it, because "There will be a hole in your heart so big that it can't be healed." She walks away, but turns around to thank him for helping out at the store. To himself, Kei comments that Oto is "too nice" and that the store "means nothing" to him since he is only using it to get closer to her.
Haruto arrives back at Airi Maya's house, where he finds Kobayashi waiting for him. He orders Kobayashi to return to his house. Kobayashi refuses to go back without Haruto, who snaps saying "Stop sniveling and go back!" He flinches at Haruto's words. Regaining himself, Haruto wonders "why it [came] out like that." He remembers Oto's face when he yelled at her and say "I feel like throwing up."
Near her house, Oto runs into Kaito Taira, who has just returned from Hawaii. He asks about Airi, so she informs him about her "strange" behavior relationship. Kaito then asks after Tenma Hase, which confuses Oto at first. She puts two-and-two together, realizing Airi likes Tenma. After Kaito leaves, Oto is consumed with guilt for not noticing earlier. She thinks she has hurt Airi, which reminds her of hurting Haruto and Tenma. Kei walks up with comforting words. In tears, she turns around and he pats her head.
