Tsukasa Domyoji has exposed Kinsan's real name, Seinosuke Amakusa, and that he is a son of a parliament member. Tsukushi Makino tells him that he must be mistaken, because "Kinsan comes from a family like mine." Tsukasa then shows her a magazine which has Kinsan on the cover. Tsukushi looks to him, asking "It isn't true, is it?" He tries to explain himself, but Tsukushi becomes upset and accusingly asks "Did you feel sorry for me?" Seinosuke shouts no and Tsukasa calls him a "lying punk."
Tsukasa starts to sway after he loudly declares "You won't get away with this" to Kinsan. Tsukushi becomes worried, though he insists it is only jet lag. Tsukushi's mother the walks up on her way home from the convenience store. She notices Tsukasa and shrieks from happiness. Tsukasa's head begins to pound. Seeing that he is not well, Chieko drags Tsukasa to their house to rest. Tsukushi follows after shooting one last look at Kinsan. She feels that Kinsan has embarrassed her.
Tsukushi's parents lay out bedding for her and Tsukasa, and then go to sleep in the kitchen with her brother. Irritated, Tsukushi threatens to kill Tsukasa if he tries anything. Tsukasa asks about Kinsan, whether they were on a date and if she kissed him. Tsukushi is surprised by his serious expression and says "I didn't." He then asks about she felt when he left for New York, but does not wait for a response before saying "forget about it." Once Tsukushi falls asleep, Tsukasa kisses her.
