Chapter 29 (第29話 () , Chapter 29) of Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio was published on June 5, 1993. The chapter was released through the shojo manga magazine, Margaret. It included in the series' fifth volume and was followed by chapter thirty.

Sakurako Sanjo reveals her true colors to Tsukushi Makino, who in turn refuses to back down to her. Deciding not to run, she goes to school the next day. There she is mercilessly attacked by her fellow classmates.

Plot

After calling Tsukushi Makino an "ugly bitch," Sakurako Sanjo says "Your days at Eitoku are over" since the F4 and Shizuka Todo are no longer watching out for her. Sakurako then insults Shizuka, which is the final straw for Tsukushi. Now infuriated, she says "Look at yourself in a mirror! Then you'll see what ugly is!" Sakurako replies "You'll beg me for forgiveness [tomorrow]." Tsukushi refuses to back down, declaring "I'll never grovel for anybody!" She then leaves.

Once Tsukushi leaves, Sakurako says "You can talk big, but only for tonight." However, her confidence quickly wavers as she bursts into tears, remembering Tsukushi calling her "ugly." Thomas looks at her with concern. Meanwhile, Tsukushi declares "I won't run" while walking home. Later, she wonders about Tsukasa Domyoji's reaction to the photo. She does not "want to see him disappointed," though she asserts "It [is] not as [if] I like him."

The next morning, Tsukushi calls Kazuya Aoike's house and his mother informs her that he has the flu and will be absent. Nervous, Tsukushi walks into a strangely empty Eitoku Academy. Someone then throws a rock at her head, drawing blood. Another student hits her in the stomach with a bat, which causes her to pass out. She wakes up tied by her wrists to a car. Tsukushi is dragged by the car. Tsukasa then shows up and yells at them to stop.
