- "Men love beautiful women like me. Ugly women are eyesores. They should get of the way, or just die. I couldn't let the F4 fawn over a girl with looks like yours. Friends? You've got to be kidding. What use are friends?"
- —Sakurako Sanjo
The twenty-eighth chapter (
The students of Eitoku Academy return to bullying Tsukushi Makino with a renewed vigor, after a photo of her and a guy is spread around school. Tsukushi goes to confront Thomas, who then reveals that Sakurako Sanjo forced him to do it.
Plot[]
Tsukushi Makino walks into her classroom and notices her classmates' cold behavior. During physical education class, she is playing volleyball by herself when a ball suddenly hits her in the face. The other girls snicker at her, before pelting her with more volleyballs. Tsukushi falls down and tries to cover her face. She then goes into the locker room, where she finds her uniform in tatters. Tsukushi is confused by everyone "turn[ing] on [her] all of a sudden."
Back in the classroom, a classmate asks for her nail polish back. The girl snatches it out of her hand and says "No matter what you wear, you still look like a slut!" Tsukushi then senses "bad vibes" coming from her classmates and rushes out of the room. She runs into some male students, who make vulgar comments like "I wonder if she only does it with blondes." Realizing the meaning, she runs to the school's bulletin board and sees a photo of her Thomas in bed.
At Sakurako Sanjo's house, Tsukushi confronts Thomas. While questioning him about the photo, she realizes that someone else had to be there to take it and then surmises that he put something in her drink. She says "We really didn't do anything, did we?!" Thomas admits that Sakurako forced him to do everything just as she enters the room. Tsukushi tells Sakurako "I thought we were friends!" Revealing her true colors, Sakurako begins ranting about how she has "lived to take revenge on the F4."
