Boys Over Flowers Wiki

Sakurako: "I've always idolized you! Oh, I hope that doesn't sound crazy. I'd just like to be your friend."
Tsukushi: "O-Of course! I'd like that."
Tsukushi becomes friends with Sakurako

The twenty-fourth chapter (第24話 () ) of the manga, Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio, was published in late March 1993.[1] The chapter was first released in the magazine Margaret, before being included in the series' fourth volume.

Tsukushi Makino wakes up in an empty hotel room with no memory of how. She decides to keep it a secret to avoid being bullied at school again. Later, Tsukushi visits Sakurako Sanjo's house where she runs into the same foreigner.

Plot[]

Tsukushi Makino's clothes are strewn about an empty hotel room. She slowly wakes up, considering the previous night to be a dream. Tsukushi then shoots up, not recognizing her current location. Noticing that she is not wearing her clothes, Tsukushi nervously checks to make sure her underwear is still on which she confirms. She thinks back to the previous night. Tsukushi, however, cannot remember anything after sharing a drink with the handsome foreigner.

At noon, Tsukushi arrives at Eitoku Academy where she finds Tsukasa Domyoji waiting at the gate. When she questions him, he denies that he was waiting for her. They then walk to the cafeteria together, surrounded by their gossiping classmates. Tsukasa treats her to the school's special lunch. Tsukushi thinks "I could get used to this," before remembering what happened that morning. She guesses that she will be bullied again if the truth ever came out.

Sojiro Nishikado attempts to flirt with Sakurako Sanjo, which fail as she hides behind Tsukushi. Sakurako expresses her admiration for Tsukushi and asks if they can be friends. She answers "Of course!" After school, Sakurako takes Tsukushi to her house. She starts feeling guilty about not actually being Tsukasa's girlfriend. Tsukushi then reaches for a photo album. Sakurako reacts strangely, quickly putting herself in front of the bookcase. Her family's boarder, Thomas, arrives. Tsukushi is shocked to see him again.
