Chapter 207 (
After being stabbed, Tsukasa Domyoji is rushed to the hospital and his friends gather in the waiting room. Tsukushi Makino finally allows herself to cry when Rui Hanazawa arrives. The pair are shocked by the arrival of Kaede Domyoji.
Plot[]
After being stabbed in the back, Tsukasa Domyoji collapses to the ground. Some people restrain the assailant, while Sojiro Nishikado and Akira Mimasaka attempt to reach Tsukasa. One reporter and his cameraman try to get a closer shot of Tsukasa. Tsukushi Makino takes the camera and smashes it into the ground. She then grabs Tsukasa, draping one of his arms around her shoulders. Tsukushi coldly tells everyone "Get out of the way." Later outside the hospital, a news correspondent makes a report on the situation.
Tsukasa's friends congregate in one of the waiting rooms. Shigeru Okawahara cries while Akira and Sojiro stay stoic. Meanwhile, Tsukasa dreams about the past while being operated on. As a child, a sick Tsukasa asks Tama for his mother or sister but everyone is out. He questions why his parents do not "care about [him]," which Tama assures him is not true. To comfort him, she gives him a stuffed rabbit from his mother. He hugs it tight. After that memory, he sees several flashes of Tsukushi's smile.
Rui Hanazawa suggests to Tsukushi that she should "rest," which she ignores. Her shock starts to subside and she breaks down saying "I wonder if he's going to die." He pats her head and tells her "Don't say such gloomy things." Meanwhile, Tsubaki and Tama arrive. Tsubaki reveals to Akira and Sojiro that the assailant was a president of a company "crushed" by Domyoji Group. At the same time, Kaede walks into the room that Tsukushi and Rui are in. She says "I didn't think we'd ever meet again."
