"I don't care about money or credit cards or titles. But let me say this, Tsukushi. I'm not doing this just for your sake. It's for sake as well. I've hardly lived with them at all. I've received no love from them as parents. I have no desire to let them force a life on me just because they gave birth to me."
Tsukasa decides to "divorce" his family

Chapter 206 (第206話 () ) is a chapter of Yoko Kamio's Boys Over Flowers. It was collected into the series' thirty-first volume. The chapter was first published in Margaret on September 20, 2001.[1] It was followed by chapter two hundred and seven on October 5.

Tsukasa Domyoji decides to leave his family for his own sake as well as for Tsukushi Makino. Upon returning to Japan, the group is greeted by the press whom think Tsukasa was kidnapped. He ends up stabbed by unknown assailant.

Plot[]

Tsukushi Makino stares in shock as Tsukasa Domyoji says "I'm divorcing my family." His friends question how he is going to "support [him]self." Tsukasa looks to Tsukushi and says that he is not doing this just for her. Tsukasa has never felt close to his parents and does not want the life they want for him. Shigeru Okawahara takes a dazed Tsukushi over to the buffet. She comments "I'd like to have a love like that." Tsukushi realizes how strong Shigeru is to help the person she loves find happiness with someone else.

Belatedly, Tsukushi shouts "I'm going to do my best!" She then offers for Tsukasa to stay at her place, to which he says "Yikes." In the morning, they all board Shigeru's ship to go home. She receives a phone call from Sakurako Sanjo, who reveals that Tsukasa has been declared kidnapped. Akira Mimasaka states that his "veil of anonymity has been lifted." Tsukasa, however, does not care since he is leaving that world behind. Shigeru, meanwhile, calls her mother so she can inform the police about the circumstances.

At the dock, the ship is greeted by a crowd of reporters eager to speak to Tsukasa. As they make their way through the crowd, Tsukasa and Tsukushi are separated. He becomes angry when one of the reporters bumps into Tsukushi, but Akira warns him not to do anything. Shigeru shouts that they have to get to the car quickly. Tsukushi and Tsukasa reach out their hands towards each other. They do not notice a man coming up from behind Tsukasa. He then stabs Tsukasa in the back.
