Chapter 198 (
Tama convinces Tsukasa Domyoji to go see Tsukushi Makino at the airport. There he sees her with Rui Hanazawa, making him angry and a brief tussle ensues. In the end, Tsukushi reminds Tsukasa of his promise and leaves.
Plot[]
Tama speaks to an apathetic Tsukasa Domyoji, asking "How long do you intend to sit there?" She reveals that his mother is heading to the airport, adding "Who do you think is returning to Japan?" Tsukasa immediately takes off. Back to present time, Tsukushi Makino stares at Rui Hanazawa thinking about how "[she] would have done anything for one of his smiles" when they first met. The two then turn around to see Tsukasa glaring at the pair of them. He asks "What are you guys doing?"
Realizing Tsukasa saw Rui kissing her forehead, Tsukushi drops her bag in shock. Tsukasa then says to Rui "Just what are you trying to pull?" Rui confesses "I love Tsukushi." Tsukasa punches him as Tsukushi shouts "Stop!" Rui immediately punches him back. He shouts "What the heck are you doing?" and tells him to stop "acting like [he is] her boyfriend" after the way he has treated Tsukushi. Rui ends by calling him "pathetic." Tsukushi stares at Tsukasa, who has seemingly accepted Rui's words.
Tsukushi feels only sadness when she looks at Tsukasa. Rui tells her to "stay if [she] want[s] to." She picks up the book she pressed Rui's flower into and returns it to her bag. Resolving herself, she begins crying as she says to Tsukasa "You have to keep your promise." He replies "I'll keep my promise. I swear." Making herself smile, Tsukushi tells him goodbye and heads off with Rui. Thinking, she realizes that same things will not go right no matter how much you want it. She, however, continues going forward.
