Chapter 197 (
Tsukushi Makino decides to head back to Japan with Rui Hanazawa. At the airport, Kaede Domyoji feels indebted to her and offers to grant her a "wish." Tsukushi only wants Tsukasa Domyoji to keep the promise he made her.
Plot[]
At Rui Hanazawa's condo, Tsukushi Makino finishes packing while he plans their flight back to Japan. She asks to borrow one of his books, pressing the flower he bought her in it. Rui questions "You wanna go and see Tsukasa?," pressing her that this is her "chance." Tsukushi says "no," remembering the way Tsukasa Domyoji looked at her "so coldly." Kaede Domyoji storms into her office, ignoring Nishida's congratulations about the successful merger. She sits at her desk and thinks of Tsukushi, saying "Ridiculous!"
At the airport, Rui goes to check them in while Tsukushi waits. The businessman suddenly runs up to her with his translator. He thanks her for helping him and tells her "Happiness surely awaits someone like you." The businessman then returns the baseball she forget earlier, before heading back to office. Tsukushi waves goodbye to him, promising to have lunch with him someday. Rui returns but his stare turns icy as he looks behind Tsukushi. She turns around to find Kaede standing there.
Kaede starts off saying something rude. Rui interrupts to defend Tsukushi and Kaede notices him for the first time. She insults Rui, leading Tsukushi to interject "Just say what you came here to say and leave." Finally, Kaede reveals that she feels indebted to Tsukushi and promises her "one wish." Remembering her plans to make Tsukasa a hot pot, Tsukushi asks only for Tsukasa to keep his promise to her. After Kaede leaves, Rui kisses Tsukushi on the forehead just as Tsukasa walks up with a shocked expression.
