The one hundred and ninety-fourth chapter (
Rui Hanazawa brings Tsukushi Makino to his condo, where she wakes up the next morning. Over breakfast, Rui suddenly kisses Tsukushi and gradually comes to the conclusion that he loves her. Later, he tells her "Let's go back to Japan."
Plot[]
Tsukushi Makino dreams of Tsukasa Domyoji saying "Let's go home together." Once awake, Tsukushi heads to the kitchen where she meets Rui Hanazawa. She makes a comment about his condo, to which he says "You said that yesterday, too." The two then sit down at the table. She thanks him "for everything." He replies "You don't have to keep thanking me." Rui then picks up the newspaper, revealing that Tsukasa's family is having problems with a "big deal." Tsukushi says "I've had enough."
Feeling exhausted, Tsukushi questions "Why can't we just have an ordinary relationship?," referring to Tsukasa. She then chastises herself for "whining." At which point, Rui kisses her. Nonchalantly, he asks "What's wrong with whining once in a while?" Tsukushi questions the kiss, but Rui only says "I just felt like doing it." She reminds him of how he called her a "pet." Rui reveals that lately he has "completely forgotten Shizuka." As he continues talking, he comes to the conclusion "I wonder if I'm in love."
Rui and Tsukushi take a ferry, passing close to the Statue of Liberty. Tsukushi thinks about what Rui said, wondering "Was that a confession?" She remembers all of the times Rui was there for her. Tsukushi then says "Don't say things like that," revealing that his words "make [her] feel like running away." He simply answers "So, let's run away." Tsukushi thinks again of Tsukasa. The boat docks and Rui tells her "Let's go back to Japan." Looking at Rui, she realizes that those are the words she had wanted Tsukasa to say.
