Tsukushi Makino and Tsukasa Domyoji are spotted on television by his mother. After walking Tsukushi home, Tsukasa is accosted by a group of men under his mother's orders. Tsukushi waits for him the next day to no avail.
On a date with Tsukasa Domyoji, Tsukushi Makino catches a baseball at a game. It is caught on camera and many of their friends see it on television. In New York, Kaede Domyoji also sees it and states "It looks like we gave them too much freedom." Blissfully unaware, Tsukushi and Tsukasa carry on with their date. While Tsukushi is ordering hotdogs, Tsukasa gets a strange feeling but ignores it. As the two are eating, Tsukushi feels more confident about not getting caught by the secret police.
Akira Mimasaka is annoyed by Tsukasa ignoring his calls. Sojiro Nishikado, still watching Tsukushi on television, says "This is really bad, isn't it?" Tsukasa walks Tsukushi to her apartment. They discuss plans to meet for lunch at school the following day. Tsukasa asks Tsukushi for a kiss, but she is too nervous about kissing in public. Smiling, they both say "See you tomorrow." Now in her apartment, Susumu Makino greets his sister and teases her about her blushing face.
Outside, Tsukasa says "Come on and show yourselves." Suddenly, several men come out of the shadows. They reveal that have "special training" and ask Tsukasa to "come quietly." He threatens "Don't lay a hand on Tsukushi," promising to "kill" them if they do so. Meanwhile, Tsukushi drops a glass bowl which breaks. Susumu helps her clean it up as she asks him what he wants for lunch tomorrow. He then teases her again. The next day, Tsukushi waits for Tsukasa on the school's roof but he never shows up.
