Tsukushi Makino orders Kiyonaga to take him to see Kaede Domyoji. They board a train and he brings her to an airport, where he informs her that Kaede is in New York. Tsukasa Domyoji, meanwhile, is seething about the situation.
Plot[]
The F4 meet with Shigeru Okawahara and Sakurako Sanjo to tell them about Kiyonaga. Sakurako declares "I thought he was suspicious." They then notice Tsukasa's "gloomy" mood. Akira Mimasaka sympathizes with him, reminding the others "First he's called a 'kid,' then Tsukushi goes off with the guy." When Sojiro says "Maybe he's already got Tsukushi all swept up," Tsukasa bangs the table and then leaves. While the others are talking, Shigeru suddenly disappears from the restaurant.
On the train, Kiyonaga tries to defend himself by telling Tsukushi Makino that she would have accepted the money too. She is confident that she would not, but cannot help fantasizing about her happy parents. He questions why she likes Tsukasa and tells her that "love fades away in three years." Tsukushi yells at him to "shut up." After transferring trains, Tsukushi wonders aloud "Do I think like this because of family environment?" Kiyonaga says "You're trying to suppress your urge to do something reckless."
Kiyonaga and Tsukushi arrive at the airport. He tells her "They say his mother's in New York," meaning she would have to fly to confront Kaede Domyoji. Tsukushi slumps to the ground, all her energy gone now. Kiyonaga reaches for her hand as he says "I said I like you, but I don't think it's love." He encourages her to "have an easier life" with him. Tsukushi wonders if she is "cut out for it." She then asks his real name. He introduces himself as Amon Kunisawa, an average college student who works part-time.
