Not to be confused with Chapter 15 of Boys Over Flowers Season 2.

"Did you see his eyes? He's trouble when he's got that look in his eyes. About three years ago, he hit a kid who stood up to us. Hard. Put him in the hospital. He had that look in his eyes then. I do believe he could kill someone."
Sojiro and Akira

Chapter 15 (第15話 () ) of Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio was released in Japan on October 20, 1992. It was published in Margaret No.22 and was followed by chapter sixteen in November 1992.[1] The chapter was later included in the series' third volume.

Tsukasa Domyoji snaps and terrorizes the school, after watching a video of Tsukushi Makino and Rui Hanazawa together. When Tsukushi goes to retrieve her notes from the emergency exit, she finds herself in danger.

Plot[]

Tsukasa Domyoji is in shock after seeing a video of Tsukushi Makino and Rui Hanazawa. Yuriko Asai then tries to seduce him by making Tsukushi look like a gold digger. When she touches him, Tsukasa slaps her. Sojiro Nishikado and Akira Mimasaka attempt to diffuse the situation. However, a glassy look comes over his eyes as he claims he has been made to look like a "fool." Sojiro tries to convince him to "forget" about it, which does not work. The two then watch him walk off.

Seconds later, Tsukasa approaches a group of laughing Eitoku Academy students and threatens one of them, crushing his glasses. Meanwhile, Tsukushi and Rui are at the emergency exit when Shizuka Todo calls up to Rui. She then walks up the stairs to ask him to accompany her to a photo shoot. Seeing Tsukushi there, she invites her to her birthday party. Tsukushi hesitates, afraid that it might turn out like Yuriko's party. Shizuka assures her that she will not invite any of her classmates.

Tsukushi later hears a loud noise and sees a group of running students. She suspects Kazuya Aoike is being bullied again, but sees Tsukasa torturing someone else. Akira and Sojiro plead with him to stop, but Tsukasa has "snapped" and continues his reign of terror. Tsukushi leaves school with Kazuya. She realizes she has forgotten her notes and returns to the emergency exit. There she finds Tsukasa. Sensing something is off, she tries to hurry away but Tsukasa stops her, saying "You sure made a fool of me."

  • Chapter fifteen takes place on September 1 along with the previous and following chapters.
  • Yuriko attempts to win over Tsukasa while he is vulnerable, which results in him hitting her.
  • Sojiro mentions that Tsukasa nearly killed someone when they were in middle school. It is possible that this person is Junpei's friend who is mentioned in chapters ninety-two and ninety-five.
  • Rui saying "Was that when you were reading fables about kings?" is a reference to chapter one, when Tsukushi uses the emergency exit to yell her frustrations similar to King Midas' barber in the fable.
  • When Shizuka invites Tsukushi to her birthday party, Tsukushi remembers the party Yuriko invited her to in chapter five.

  • Chapter fifteen was first published with a two-page color illustration of Tsukushi and the F4.[2] The image was republished in the art book and volume two of the complete edition.

  • High-end luxury brands Cartier and Rolex are mentioned by some Eitoku students.
