The one hundred and forty-fourth chapter (
Tsukushi Makino ends up snapping at Matsutaro Yoshimatsu when he mentions Tsukasa Domyoji. Sojiro Nishikado and Akira Mimasaka, meanwhile, try to cheer up Tsukasa. It turns into a brawl between him and Sojiro.
Plot[]
Tsukushi Makino finds herself constantly annoyed with Matsutaro Yoshimatsu, whom she always has to remind to work. He mentions hearing that she is the fiancée of a "really rich guy." Matsutaro then shows her a newspaper talking about Domyoji Group. He questions "Shouldn't you go back to him, instead of staying here?" Tsukushi snaps at him saying "That's why your girlfriend ran off." When she looks back up, Yoshimatsu has disappeared. Tsukushi feels awful for losing her temper on him.
Shigeru Okawahara greets everyone. Sakurako Sanjo questions Sojiro Nishikado about inviting Shigeru to Tsukasa's cheer up party. Shigeru claims "But I do have something to do with this," calling herself Tsukasa's ex-fiancée and Tsukushi's best friend. The girls are arguing as Tsukasa Domyoji shows up. While everyone starts chatting, Tsukasa asks "Is this why you called me here?" Akira Mimasaka and Sojiro try to keep the mood light, mentioning that they have not went out together in a while.
Tsukasa says "It's damn irritating," referring to this party. His attitude irritates Sojiro, who says "Acting like a jerk just because you lost your girl." Tsukasa punches him, leading to a full-on fight. Meanwhile, Tsukushi meets Matsutaro at the beach and apologizes. He talks to her about Rika, which triggers memories for her about Tsukasa. Tsukushi starts crying, thinking "Tsukasa, have you forgotten me, already?" Meanwhile, Shigeru, Sakurako, and Kazuya Aoike walk away from the restaurant thinking of Tsukushi.
