Chapter 129 (第129話 () , Chapter 129) of Yoko Kamio's Boys Over Flowers was published in Margaret No.24 on November 20, 1997. It was followed by chapter one hundred and thirty two weeks later on December 5. The chapter was also included in volume twenty of the series.

Yuki Matsuoka is able to get back at Nakatsuka with the help of Sojiro Nishikado. Tsukushi Makino starts to become suspicious of intentions towards Yuki. Tsukasa Domyoji voices his worries to Tsukushi about their relationship.

Plot

Tsukushi Makino and Tsukasa Domyoji arrive just as Sojiro Nishikado has helped Yuki Matsuoka get revenge on Nakatsuka. Sojiro threatens him with physical violence if he ever makes Yuki cry again. Tsukasa then knocks him out using a sleeper hold. The group departs the club, leaving Nakatsuka on the floor. Tsukushi watches Sojiro and Yuki interact. Yuki tells him "I feel completely over him." He then gives her a high-five, making her to smile brightly. Tsukushi wonders "What's with those two?"

At a restaurant, Tsukushi asks "What really happened?" Sojiro jokingly refuses to explain, leading Tsukushi to jump to conclusions. Yuki apologizes to Tsukushi for worrying her and then to Tsukasa for what happened on the double date. Tsukushi asks if she will be fine at school. Yuki responds "He won't hurt me again," saying her situation is "nothing" to Tsukushi being bullied. Realizing they were both "culprits," Tsukasa and Sojiro stand up to leave. Following them out, Tsukushi is happy to see Yuki smiling.

Sojiro and Yuki slip away while Tsukushi and Tsukasa are arguing. Sojiro is frustrated about them not making "any progress." Getting an idea, Sojiro declares "You and I should do it." Yuki blushes as he holds her hands. Tsukushi, noticing the other two have left, feels worried. Tsukasa becomes irritated and asks if she is taking their relationship "seriously," but she dodges the question. He then admits "I feel like maybe it's not going to work out." Tsukushi hugs him from behind, saying "I wanted to thank you for today."
