Chapter 104 (第104話 () , Chapter 104) is the final chapter included in Boys Over Flowers' sixteenth volume. It was first released on October 20, 1996. The chapter was followed by the one hundred and fifth installment on November 5.

Tsukushi Makino angrily confronts Tsukasa Domyoji about his fiancée, Shigeru Okawahara. She mistakenly believes Tsukasa has been dating her all along. Later, Tsukushi meets Shigeru, who seems quite taken with Tsukasa.

Plot

Tsukushi Makino sneezes leading Yuriko Asai and her friends to say a rude joke. She ignores them feeling she cannot "waste [her] anger" right now. Instead she focuses it on Tsukasa Domyoji. She finds out his location from Kazuya Aoike and storms to the cafeteria. There she tells him "Congratulations on your engagement," before accusing him of "mak[ing] a fool of [her]." He tries to explain, but Tsukushi does not believe him. Tsukasa attempts to grab her before she can leave, but she kicks him in the stomach.

Still angry Tsukushi strides through the courtyard, thinking to herself "Does he expect me to believe it was a mistake?" She eventually stops walking and tries to remember the appearance of the girl, Shigeru Okawahara. The very same girl then suddenly appears before her. Meanwhile, Tsukasa explains about the engagement to Akira Mimasaka and Sojiro Nishikado. He describes Shigeru as a "monkey" since she jumped on his back. Tsukasa starts to blush about her biting his ear before he can finish the story.

Shigeru sits next to Tsukushi and starts chatting with her. She tells her "I wondered what sort of school that weird guy attended." Hearing about how he treated Shigeru the night before, Tsukushi asks "You and he have been dating, haven't you?" Shigeru reveals that they just met but jokes that maybe he fell in love at first sight. Tsukasa and the others walk up. He starts yelling at her and nearly hits her when she mentions biting his ear. She punches him as she says "As your fiancée, it's my job to train you well!"
