"I will be blunt. I want Tsukushi to give Tsukasa up. Of course, I don't expect her to do this from the goodness of her heart. You will find 50 million yen here. I'm sorry, but I gathered that you possessed limited resources so I had this prepared for you."
In the morning, Tsukasa Domyoji drops Tsukushi Makino off at her home. She thinks of the present she gave him, being surprised about how "moved" he was by homemade cookies. Tsukushi blushes when she remembers the kiss and chastises herself for letting him kiss her, instead of slapping him. Thinking back to the cookies, she wonders "Does he love cookies so much?" She quickly amends this thought, thinking "No, he loves me." Deciding to put off the situation, Tsukushi walks into her home to go to sleep.
An extremely chipper Tsukasa walks into Rui Hanazawa's room and wakes him up. Rui asks a couple questions, before trying to sleep again. Tsukasa shows him the cookies Tsukushi made, saying "That girl keeps saying 'No, no,' but I think she really likes me." Rui then takes a bite of one, angering Tsukasa. Meanwhile, Tsubaki Domyoji confronts her mother about her plans, saying "You're not planning to be as cruel to them as you were to me?!" Kaede dismisses what happened to Tsubaki as "meaningless."
At the Makinos' home, Tsukushi's father answers the door and finds Kaede's secretary Nishida. Her father and mother loudly wake up Tsukushi, announcing "Tsukasa's mother is here!" They all hurriedly get dressed, before facing Kaede. She tells them "I want Tsukushi to give Tsukasa up" and presents them with fifty million yen. As Kaede continues talking, Tsukushi feels more and more insulted. Then her mother stands up and pours a container of salt on Kaede, saying "Take you money and get out of here!"
